As part of an ongoing strategic business requirement of cost reduction, the aerospace company identified two current legacy processes, each using different methods and tools, to transfer DMU information to customers. The company identified the need for a Managed Service Supplier to establish a standardized way to work and deliver the solution to a new best in class standard.

Elysium Solution

CIMPA and Elysium built on their existing partnership to utilize CIMPA’s knowledge of best practice data translation solutions and Elysium’s ASFALIS (3DxSUITE) tool to automate the bidirectional translation to and from Siemens NX and Dassault Systèmes CATIA V5.

ASFALIS realized high fidelity automation with robust and reliable mapping and editing of CAD models to comply with customer protocols.

The consistency and accuracy is confirmed through automated Product Data Quality and Validation Reports.
