Point Cloud × Spatial Reality Display

New Experience of Point Cloud Stereoscopic Viewing

InfiPoints is the only application that supports point cloud viewing with Spatial Reality Display (SRD)

InfiPoints for SRD realizes the viewing of point cloud data processed in InfiPoints with Spatial Reality Display “ELF-SR1” and “ELF-SR2” developed by Sony Corporation.

Experience the immersive and intuitive stereoscopic display of the engineering site, buildings, etc., without the use of 3D glasses or VR headsets.

What is Spatial Reality Display developed by Sony?

Spatial Reality Display detects the position of the viewer’s eyes by high-speed vision sensors and eye-recognition technology, and delivers the optimal images to each left and right eye.

What is point cloud data?

The point cloud is a discrete set of data points that represents the 3D shape of objects.

3D laser scanners direct the laser beam, and record the location of the first object on its path. Points are colorized, and reproduce the object three-dimensionally. The point cloud data is typically massive in file size, and therefore, the viewing performance is a common bottleneck when viewing the captured buildings, large facilities, etc.

InfiPoints solves that challenge, and realizes real-time rendering on the display.
