HAMAMATSU, Japan—July 22, 2019—Elysium, the global interoperability solutions provider, has announced an extension of the global partnership with Dassault Systèmes (Dassault hereunder) for wider support of 3DEXPERIENCE.

Based on this enhanced partnership, Elysium will provide 3DEXPERIENCE reader and writer capabilities for CADdoctor and ASFALIS. This will enrich current interoperability capabilities between multi-CAD and Dassault Systèmes’s flagship PLM system, 3DEXPERIENCE. The release is planned for the end of 2019.

Elysium has been partnering with Dassault for roughly two decades and has cultivated a strong technical partnership. History dates to 2002, starting with being a CAA V5 Adapter, then a CAA V5 Interoperability partner in 2006 and finally a V6 Official Partner in 2012.

Having the official partnership supporting 3DEXPERIENCE in Elysium’s trademark products CADdoctor and ASFALIS, gives users the ability for more advanced data processing use cases such as:

• Translation from multi-CAD systems to 3DEXPERIENCE
• Translation from 3DEXPERIENCE to multi-CAD systems
• Product Data Quality (PDQ) checking, validation, data optimization and geometry simplification

The enhanced agreement expands data interoperability to multi-CAD systems. In addition, Elysium’s sophisticated 3D data optimizing technology can be utilized with 3DEXPERIENCE for data exchange with downstream processes by healing, geometry simplification, and processing data by taking advantage of information embedded in the CAD model such as PMI and attributes.

As a Dassault certified V6 Official Partner, Elysium has provided 3DEXPERIENCE DirectTranslator, which can be embedded into 3DEXPERIENCE using xCAD component. This software has supported translation between 3DEXPERIENCE and formats such as NX, Parasolid, and Creo.

3DEXPERIENCE users can now more comprehensively collaborate in their supply chain to realize high data distribution velocity by the combination of 3DEXPERIENCE and Elysium technology.
