Adapters are Components of 3DxSUITE to process input and output. Adapters for capturing input data are called Importer. Adapters for the output to a target format are called Exporter.
3DxSUITE Importer and Exporter enable you to translate 3D data, including geometry, structures, attributes and PMI.

Optimizers are Components to perform various processing on 3D data imported into 3DxSUITE. Our Optimizers help you to leverage your 3D data through analyses, optimization and reporting.
|PDQ Checker||Use this Optimizer to run quality checks for your CAD models. PDQ checker complies with PDQ guidelines from SASIG, JAMA, JAPIA, and VDA. Check criteria and thresholds can be customized. Output your PDQ results in CSV or 3D PDF format for reporting or utilize them to increase your data quality with our healing capabilities.|
|CAD Validator||Use this Optimizer for automated CAD validation. Compare two CAD models including geometry, assembly structures, attributes and PMI. Changes are output in customizable validation reports. We offer you four types of validation reports in these formats: 2D XML, 3D HTML, 3D PDF and a dedicated viewer.|
|Geometry Simplifier||Use this Optimizer to simplify your CAD data. Remove specific features for CAE analyses, easily delete and combine components for IP protection, or create envelope solids for file size reduction. We enable the reuse of your simplified models for space claim, product packaging, AR/VR applications and many more use cases.|
|Reverse Engineer||Use this Optimizer to run reverse engineering. We can automatically recognize fillets and base surfaces from polygon curvature for further processing and optimization. Automate the process to create CAD models from polygon data and utilize high-quality data for your downstream processes.|
|Mid Surfacer||Use this Optimizer to create mid-surfaces for analyses. Semi-automatically create mid-surfaces from solid models. Leverage your data with specific editing functions exclusively for mid-surfaces.|
|Polygon Optimizer||Use this Optimizer to streamline your polygon data. Perform quality checks and optimize your polygon data for further downstream consumption.|
|ENF Editor||Use this Optimizer to edit your ENF data. Information contained in ENF, such as assembly structures, colors, attributes and PMI can be edited freely. It will operate by calling ENF Editor API from a Ruby script. The script can be edited freely.|
|Report Creator||Use this Optimizer to create your 3D reports. Report Creator is required to output PDQ Checker / CAD Validator output results into a 3D PDF or 3D HTML report.|
Utility Tools are used to configure various settings of 3DxSUITE components. Our Utility Tools enable you to customize the behavior and outputs of 3DxSUITE components to meet your individual requirements. All Utility Tools can be used license-free.
|Common Utility||Common Utility is a tool for editing and implementing general settings of our 3DxSUITE Components. Settings configured by Common Utility are automatically applied to each available 3DxSUITE Component.|
|ScenarioEditor||ScenarioEditor is a tool for the definition of reusable scenarios. Specify the Components to be executed by placing Adapters and Optimizers in the GUI. You define the order of processing steps, configure the individual parameters of each Component within a scenario and control their relations.|
|Data Package Studio||Data Package Studio is a tool for customizing your 3D PDF output. It works as a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat Pro product line and provides you maximum flexibility to create reusable templates.|
|Validation Configurator||Validation Configurator is a tool for customizing the comparison process performed by CAD Validator. You can define which of the various elements included in the 3D model to use in the comparison. A rich set of settings and filters gives you full control to highlight your significant changes.|
|PDQ Checker Configurator||PDQ Checker Configurator is a tool for customizing the analysis of our PDQ Checker. It is provided in Microsoft Excel format.|
Our Front-ends provide interfaces of 3DxSUITE to users and administrators to perform dedicated operations. We offer desktop applications, web applications, Windows context menus, CAD built-in menus, and command line operation to support your desired use cases.
|Viewer||With our Viewer you can visualize 3D model data in ENF format and compare result output by CAD Validator. It operates lighter than Editor, allowing users to perform various measurements and display structures.||✔||✔|
|Editor||With our Editor you can view, automatically translate and edit 3D model data. Manual editing gives you full control for optimizing your 3D model data. Editor is the equivalent to our older product, CADdoctor.||✔||✔|
With our SmartLauncher Standalone you can run Component processing from Windows context menu. In addition to translation, you can call reusable scenarios to automatically run a series of operations.
With our SmartLauncher Plug-in you can run Component processing from the menu within your CAD system. The CAD integration avoids switching systems in your daily operations. You can directly import external formats to your native CAD application and export to an external format. Scenarios can be called to automatically run a series of operations.
|SmartController||With our SmartController you can process multiple 3D model data together based on your specified scenarios. It provides limited batch functionality as all processing is done on a single computer.||✔||✔|
|SmartController Pro||With our SmartController Pro you can process multiple 3D model data together based on your specified scenarios. It is the high-end version of our SmartController and provides full batch functionality via execution on multiple computers.||✔|
|TransServer||TransServer is a high-end product of SmartController Pro and runs on web-based. You can execute scenarios for 3D model data translation and optimization and distribute the loads. TransServer also offers a variety of functions such as user management, execution process via Web API, and automatic translation of 3D model data located in specific folders.||✔|
|WorkerNode||With our WorkerNodes the Component processes such as translation and CAD comparison can be executed based on the commands from SmartController Pro and TransServer.||✔|
|Command Line||Command Line is a method to directly run Components from the command line without using an application.||✔|
