CADdoctor EX5.0 has a renewed user interface to increase efficiency of repairing geometry related errors that often causes trouble in data exchange. With the new interface, users can repair complex geometry errors easily by simple mouse operations. The automatic healing quality has been also significantly improved, especially for NX data conversion.
As an enhancement of the "Geometry Verification" functionality, a new feature was added to detect differences in assembly structure, such as addition or deletion of parts, or changes in position of parts assembled, between two assembly models. This new feature helps users to review design changes quickly without missing them.

Today, many industries depend on 3D tools. Even those who are unfamiliar with 3D data handle them, so the usability of 3D tools is more and more important these days. Because of this new user market, CADdoctor EX5.0 has a drastically improved user interface. The functionality of navigation and guide features added in CADdoctor EX5.0 make it possible for users to operate CADdoctor confidently, even if they have no experience with it. This essentially allows anyone to refine 3D data without the help of CAD specialists, which also eliminates time-consuming training sessions as well as on-the-job training.

CADdoctor EX5.0 offers another advantage for users. The Geometry Verification functionality has two new features with this latest version. The first is exporting an XML file containing the result of a geometry comparison of two models. The second is comparing the structure of two assembly models. These new features will make it possible for users to review design changes efficiently and reduce the cost of rework caused by mistakes.
Using CADdoctor EX5.0 with the new user interface and enhanced geometry verification features, you can expect massive reduction of time and cost for preparing CAD data that is free from translation problems or modeling defects.
